Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: June 10, 2025
These Terms & Conditions govern all memberships, purchases, and participation in United Latino Contractors programs.
Membership Eligibility
Membership is open to service-based businesses in the contracting and construction industry. Businesses offering marketing, advertising, or web development services are not eligible for membership in order to preserve exclusive service benefits for our members.
We reserve the right to approve or deny membership applications at our sole discretion based on alignment with our mission, organizational needs, and community guidelines.
Industry Restrictions for Membership
To preserve the integrity of our community and protect our members from unethical or high-pressure sales tactics commonly found in certain marketing practices, United Latino Contractors (ULC) does not allow membership from marketing, advertising, or web development agencies.
ULC was founded to serve and support Latino contractors by providing trustworthy, vetted resources — including discounted marketing and website design services through our own internal team. This policy helps ensure that our members receive honest guidance and avoid being approached by outside agencies who may not have their best interests in mind.
Membership
Membership is valid for one calendar year from the date of purchase.
Membership benefits include access to selected events, digital resources, training sessions, and qualified vendor interactions.
Benefits may vary based on availability and member participation.
Pricing & Renewal
Membership fees are subject to change but will be honored for the full term of purchase.
Renewals are not automatic. Members will be notified prior to expiration.
Payment & Refunds
All membership and event payments are final and non-refundable unless explicitly stated.
We use secure third-party platforms for payment processing.
Speaker & Partner Guidelines
Approved speakers must provide educational, non-promotional content.
Any attempt to solicit or sell directly to members outside of authorized opportunities may result in removal or disqualification.
Partners must agree to provide clear benefits to members, such as discounts, resources, or free consultations.
Event Participation & Liability
We are not responsible for personal or property loss, injury, or damages during in-person events.
Participation in events is at your own risk and subject to our event policies.
Member Conduct
Members are expected to uphold respectful and ethical behavior.
We reserve the right to suspend or revoke membership at any time for violations of policy, code of conduct, or community standards.
Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, we encourage resolution through good faith negotiation. If unresolved, the matter will be subject to mediation under Texas law before legal action may be pursued.
Updates
These terms may be updated periodically. Your continued participation implies acceptance of any modifications.
